    AGE MINIMUM
Both me and my character are 21+, and I prefer to keep all interactions in the same ballpark. I would like any RP partners and their characters to be 21+ as well. If you are below 18, I would rather not interact at all.    OOC vs IC
A clear disconnect between OOC & IC is a must for me and anyone I interact with. I have had far too many people break this boundary in the past, and am tired of people blending IC connections and relationships into OOC. Please do not do this, I will not tolerate it and will immediately cut people off for it.    ADULT THEMES
Please do not approach me with ERP in mind. RP revolving around sexual themes is not my preference, and would only ever actually roleplay such themes with already established connections and friends. While I am okay with nsfw writing, I prefer it take place in the appropriate spaces. Overall, please just be polite. I also refuse to roleplay any nsfw-esque themes with Lalafells.    BIGOTRY
I'm not into roleplaying or interacting with people who are homophobic, transphobic, racist, etc. Pretty normal expectations. I am also not into interacting with those who actively fetishize certain groups of people. ( For example; if you have F+ in your bio I will purposefully ignore you. )

    THE QESTIR
I try to fall within canon as much as possible, but not much is known about the Qestir, and even less is known about the Moks. My character is involved with both tribes, and I do my best to write him following what we know about them. It is important to note that he does not speak, and ( typically ) refuses to, in accordance with his Qestir upbringing.    WRITING STYLE
I am the sort that seeks long-term story building, character development, and progression through a plotline shared between two ( or more ) people. Though this is my preference, I only really do it in private and / or on tumblr, as I am not restricted by character limit or formatting issues that comes from in game roleplay or discord. I will also only really reciprocate more intertwined character building with friends and those I trust, typically outside of the game.    EXPECTATIONS
Communication is highly valued. Most of my expectations of others; both in terms of friendship and roleplay, is pretty minimal. All I ask for is kindness and respect, and I will of course show the same in return! In terms of roleplay, all I would ask is to have a similar mindset and style ( and to follow the basic rules of roleplay ), as I want to blend well with any writing partners I take on. This is mostly applicable to those who want to roleplay more than just in passing or casually at venues since I don't really do that all too much.

       QUICK INFO opinion on garleans  Dhuul would simplify his feelings for them as hatred, but he understands that not all of them are the same, and many are conscripts forced into a role they do not wish for. Garleans are his most common targets, and he does his due diligence to ensure that they are indeed guilty of the crimes they are accused of. Despite this, he finds himself guilty of extreme bias, having to remind himself in the face of any Garlean he knows to be innocent that they aren't as cruel as many others. fishmonger  He is a fisherman by trade, technically, and greatly enjoys the work. He did it a lot more and as his proper day job before shifting his focus as a rebel, though he still does it every now and again to earn coin. dirty business  As an assassin, despite typically not taking hits for money and prefering to plan his own hits on very specific people ( garleans ), he is known to take jobs from outside sources on other forces if he is exceptionally low on gil. This can include personal vendettas, a scorned lover, and so on. All he ever requires is a motive he deems satisfactory for him to take the hit. As a result of this, he tends to be partially involved in some more seedy operations and places.        GALLERY

       UPBRINGING.Raised under traditional roots within the Qestiri, Dhuul grew up around a diverse group of people coming and going from Reunion, being no stranger to foreigners or their tendencies. He was raised to be the perfect listener and observer, at first out of good faith to learn and adapt to understand a variety of cultures, as many Qestir do. He would later adapt skills taught to him upon learning of the Moks through his parents, and the role he was meant to fulfill among them. Dhuul was taught to use his skills for both subterfuge and spywork, primarily for the benefit of all the Xaelic tribes, aiding in the preliminary movements of necessary tribes to ensure their safety long before danger would arrive. All the while his association with the various subtle changes was kept to the shadows.His life would take a sharp turn during the Garlean occupation, many of his immediate family, friends, and fellow tribesmen falling to the Garleans by death or through forced conscription. Though he knew the risk of his line of work fairly well, the occupation would be his catalyst for a very drastic shift in many of his beliefs. In his time of grief and mourning, he would slowly adapt his prowess with his skills for moving quickly and quietly into a deadly weapon through advanced teachings he'd seek in Kugane. Dhuul became a weapon in the belt of the Garlean resistance, shifting his focus from keeping the Steppes safe by minimizing risk and danger through avoiding it, into facing the dangers head on, though alone and in the shadows.

       THE EASTERN SCOURGE.Dhuul primarily resides in the Steppe, frequenting Reunion, as he prefers to stick close to home. He regularly travels for his various assignments, usually involving investigations either of inner dealings involving various Xaela tribes due to his Moks association, or for targets against the Garleans. Jobs that involve Garlean activity do not always involve the assassination of a given figurehead, such as the moving of immigrants to safer locations away from Garlean control, but the majority of his assignments involve killing.His work can keep him away from the Steppe and take him to most corners of the available world for any given amount of time, but he tries to return at least for a short duration every few months.        POST ENDWALKER.        HOOKS the qestir  a fellow qestir would likely recognize dhuul in some fashion. he has been known to be fairly easy to approach, and has a willingness to help his fellow tribesmen. the moks  ( this one is harder to pinpoint, so please reach out about this one beforehand ) share with him the universal gesture shared among the moks, and you will find a friend. other tribes  given the qestir's role as the protectors of reunion, dhuul is easily clocked as a qestir due to his tribal attire, and therefore might be easy to approach by other tribe members. the empire  if your character is a garlean or has ties to the empire, dhuul can be inclined to hunt you. be warned, he considers all who are associated with the empire to be his enemy. underground  dhuul can sometimes find himself in shadier operations, businesses with fronts, etc., all naturally illegal. if you are in such circles, you might recognize him.

       MY CHARACTERroleplaying a qestir is rather difficult to me, but i really enjoy the challenge. a lot of issues rise up from being unable to communicate words in a literal sense in character, instead apply heavy implications through other gestures and expression. i try my best with this, but I'm sure it can seem rather convoluted or leading to nowhere sometimes. any suggestions help, if you have any.romance / nsfw roleplay is never my priority, but i know a lot of people on ffxiv seek it out. neither themes are ones i will be leaning into unless it is naturally developed. when it comes to romance, dhuul is monogomous and thus i would only have him ever take on one partner. currently he is interested in someone, and thus will reject any advances.you can also find dhuul as a muse of mine for more entwined and long-term development through story over on tumblr, which is where i actually prefer to write. all interactions in ffxiv are casual, and i typically do not roleplay on discord. i'm happy to hand out my tumblr to anyone interested, just let me know.
